Zine Fair, MCA, 25 May 2008.

I was out at a friend's wedding the night before so I got to the I zine fair late. I was still busy finishing off my zine up till the morning of the fair.

I was expecting 10 or so tables, a small gathering, but instead I encountered this epic turnout.

I hope this turns into an annual event. It was so much fun and festive.

Sinead, Joe, Dave and Mark manning the fort.

It's hard to know where to start when there's so many zines placed in front of you at once. I wish Sydney had it's own Sticky zine store like Melbourne.

This is our mate Matt Huynh. He is a great graphic book artist. Look out for his graphic novel Happy Birthday, Anyway.

Jamie and Helen was there. I bumped into so many friends during the day and met a few interesting new ones.

Conor and Amanda was there. Conor just stepped off a plane from Melbourne after the opening of his show There Stands the Glass at the CCP.

Annie and Vi met each other at Kmart.

Whhaaaa Whaaaaa..

The chill out area was super.

Steph Anderson made this hamburger zine. A delicious, mouth watering treat for the eyes. My favourite zine from the entire show. It even comes with it's own sandwich wrapper. How good is that.

A small sample of some of the zines that I brought, swapped or was given to me. Thanks everyone for supporting my zine as well. I sold over half of them.

If only every weekend was like this. Zine fair dinkum.
