Urban Art Tour, Newtown, 27 September 2008.

Old UNseeN Magazine workstation. 40GB lost forever.

This is the infamous MSY computer store. The kids that run it are like the Sinfield "Soup Nazi" of computer retail. On weekends the waiting line stretches out the door and through the car park. They have the cheapest prices but the worst customer service ever. I waited 20 minutes just to see a price list of computer jargon I did not understand.

This is the 2042: Art on the Street, Urban Art Tour.

We toured around Newtown being informed about the street art in the area.

Getto bin, hooked to an Ipod Mini, loud and effective.

Learnt a few things about street art. Like taggers don't see themselves as artist and pieces dedicated to dead graff artist will never be painted over.

The usual suspects.

Nature's street art.

Junky.

Banksy circa 2003.

We ended up at Oh Really's. A new street art store in Sydney.

I ran into Alvin on the way to Gallery 4A.

Jason Wing.

I grew up here. Jamil Yamani.

Attended the Asian-Australian Art Now: Positioning the Fields conference at Gallery 4A.

Look what finally arrived. Fair dinkum.
