The Lake, Australia Centre for Photography, 29 August 2009.

This one was tight rope walking.

Silver swan.

Extinction.

Nairn Scott's The Glomesh Project.

Everywhere.

The Lake, the exhibition at the ACP had a strong Picnic at Hanging Rock feel about it.

Lakers. Narelle Autio, Troy Ruffels, Rebecca Dagnall and Alexander James.

Malcom introducing the photographers.

Rebecca Dagnall photographed her hometown of Perth. One of the things that initiated the sytle of this work was seeing heavy metal imagery when she accidently split one of her images.

Rebecca Dagnall

Murray Fredericks landscape photographs reminds me of Hiroshi Sugimoto's seascapes.

Tasmainan Troy Ruffels.

Troy Ruffels.

Love the mood of this image by Ruffels.

Narelle Autio explaining that her work was about bravado and the feeling of near drowning.

These photos were not setup. Autio had to wait in shark infested waters for kids to jump off the jetty.

Hardwork, capturing the unexpected and serendipity is still important in Autio's process.

Martin Walch.

Double flash effect. Alexander James.

Alexander James.

Reverse drips are hot.

New to the collection. All my favourite photographers in one book. Fair dinkum.
