Sam Stephenson, The Rat's Nest Gallery, 18 December 2010.

I went to Dr Pong to see Juan Mon's photographs of New York. Dr Pong is not a doctor at all but a bar with a table tennis table.

Juan Mon.

Then I headed over to Seeing Triple, a photo show Sam Stephenson organised. Got there an hour early and had to take cover in the gallery due to the rain. Boys were still frantically pinning up their work.

Oliver Bryce Yates.

Sam Chiplin.

A5 zine.

Sam Stephenson's Defendant series.

It was nearing Christmas someone made a Bible scene in their door way.

Mother Nature thanks you.

Have you ever met a stranger who automatically pose in front of you just because you are holding a camera? This guy was one of those. And he also claims he plays for Sydney FC.

Common goals.

The Stig.

I saw this at the MCA but can't remember who it was by. Can't even find it on the MCA's website.

Walking on corn hurt.

This is Olafur Eliasson's show Take Your Time at the MCA. Walk into this room and everything you look at becomes a strange shade of black, white and orange. Really strange experience but more science then art.

The 360 degree room for all colours made me physically ill. Had to quickly run to the bathroom.

This water vapor sculpture thing was really beautiful.

They had a table filled with only white Lego blocks. Some of the metropolis sculptures people made was amazing.

I will never think of white Lego blocks the same way again.

My personal favourite item in the show was this Lego ornament someone had constructed around one of the bench legs.

Fair dinkum.
