Patti Smith, Centre for Contemporary Photography, 12 September 2008.

I went down to the CCP to see what I could find. Anne Noble had her show of Antarctic Photographs.

The CCP had changed from the last time I was here.

They now have this mini library of photographic books.

Steven Sebring made a film and book about the film about Patti Smith. This is a show about Smith's objects in the film.

That urn holds the remains of Robert Mapplethorpe.

Written like they believed it.

Phibs channelling Pollock.

Jason, Nat and I spent time in the park minding Amelia.

She refused to go to sleep afterwards.

Where else in the world will you find a man made out of milk crates, sitting on top of a freight container, smoking a ciggy. Touch down.

I went back to Metropolis to purchase some books.

Tag Town by Martha Cooper and Tokyo by Takashi Homma. Epic.

Escape.

News about plane crashes should be banned when you are actually flying on a plane.

Saw the most amazing moonrise.

It was a bumpy flight back to Sydney.

This box was waiting for me when I arrived home.

1,000 free postcards from Avant Card with my photo printed on the front, plus hundreds distributed nation wide. Epic. Fair dinkum.
