Kiama, 30 October 2009.

This is the documentary that started this blog. Finally mine on DVD.

We took a short trip to Kiama. Via the coastal road which I've never driven on before.

During the drive across the coastal road.

Leah and Sonia behind a bronze boat sculpture with wing sails.

Photography is still allowed.

Note to self: come back here for a holiday.

Aus-tra-lia.

On our way to the blow hole.

Lake Illawarra.

If you have an open sticker on your window, does that mean you are always open?

Leah doing her best classy lady pose.

We stopped to whisper to these horses.

This was my favorite part of the trip.

We stop over at Campbelltown Gallery to see our friends in the 47th Festival of Fisher's Ghost Art Award.

Andrew Frost was the judge this year.

David Capra.

Tom Polo stole his work from Grant Pirrie's window.

Michael Lindeman.

This is not a photograph. It's a drawing.

Not gay, just happy.

Liam Benson won the photographic award.

Jason Wing won the Aboriginal award.

David Capra and Jason Wing.

We were having a pretty good day, until David convinced us to have dinner at Sizzlers. I ordered a hot chocolate and had to make it myself.

Sizzlers. Bad service and bad food. This was Leah's $30 steak.

Leah, trying to convince me to smile. No, I'm never eating at Sizzlers ever again. Fair dinkum.
