Five Pockets Exhibition, Monster Children Gallery, 23 July 2008.

Wssup?......Nuthin....

She's dead. So get over it.

This is the best poster I've seen in ages. It has so much heart. Mike V would be proud. Respect.

My second pitstop of the day. The Australian Centre for Photography. I had a chat to Malcolm about showing some work there. We spoke about various photographic things including Tiny Vices, surprisingly.

Then I marched down to my favorite bookstore, Ariel and brought this book. Even though I shouldn't have because I'm kinda broke this month.

This is the show I came to see. Five Pockets, at Monster Children Gallery.

Got there early as usual and caught Joe straightening up some frames. The image in the middle is my favorite. It's by Steven Chee.

These are some of the photographs in the exhibition. I love Chris' idea of tying the jeans to some balloons and watching them float away.

I love Terence's burning image on the bottom left.

Chris got them all beautifully framed. White frames are the new black.

That big photograph in the middle was shot using an 8X10 camera.

I can see Ed Templeton's and Tim Barbar's influences shining through.

Hey, cool, books.

Hey, cool, t-shirts and books.

Hey, cool, Rufus.

Life imitating art.

There's never a bad time to have a good time.

What can I say about this image?

Then everyone came.

This is Steven Chee. The man's humble about his talents.

Team Monster Children. Thanks again for letting me take part. The show's travelling down to Melbourne next, 5 June to 3 July. Lookout for it.

Then I saw some crazy shit go down.... Ten officers versus one drunk dude. Fair dinkum.
