Andrew Cowen, Monster Children Gallery, 15 May 2008.

I had to go to Monster Children Gallery to deliver some new work for the Localism show.

Andrew Cowen was launching his show at the gallery that night.

Hidden graff behind the Monster Children Gallery walls.

Max came up from Melbourne. I don't know how he remembered me from all those years ago when I met him at Pam Gallery in Melbourne. Note to Self.

Then I went to Still Gallery to see the Pat Bassington and Peter Volich show.

I found Trent Parke upstairs.

Mini maze.

Then I went to the Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation to see the Ai Weiwei show. See that small pillar of wood sitting on the floor on the right. It was cut to fit the sculpture into the gallery. They should have cut a hole in the roof. The pillars are from the Qing Dynasty.

I was expecting Fairytale to go for 10 minutes but it goes for 2:46'37. Great doco.

It's strange to finish reading the subtitles before the words are spoken. I feel like a mind reader.

Tsunami wave. I love this sculpture

The new Purple Anthology.

One day I'll own a copy of this book. Martha Cooper fanning out.

Photography: You will reunite with an old friend you thought lost if you dream of photographs.

I get nightmares colouring in posters this big.

Back at Monster Children Gallery. Hey, cool, books.

Andrew's photos are of sites in Adelaide where unspeakable crimes have occurred.

Doug reading about the unspeakable.

I'm trying to get a photo of Joe everytime I visit the gallery.

This is like sticking your head into the mouth of a lion.

Those who survive the lion got an icecream.

See that wall on the left. It's new. No idea how they dragged it up here.

Mr Chan is right into it.

Chris shows me some magic.

Then I got a ride from Ali to Blender Gallery to see the Toby Burrows show.

I've never seen Ali (right) without a smile on his face.

Then I caught a bus and train home with Pete. Ask him to show you his text messages. Fair dinkum.
